The Outpost Tavern started in a barrack building of the II World War moved into its current location. Handled by many owners, the mission remained the same – to serve good times, good food and good beer!
Enter the Outpost through a pair of swinging doors in the shape of scantily clad women. The Outpost is a favorite hangout for scientists, astronauts and flight engineers from the Johnson Space Center. The walls are covered with pictures and history of space programs and autographed pictures of astronauts.
The tavern serves good beer, a variety of hamburgers, fresh French fries and a variety of dinner salads.
